A Glittery Wedding

A friend requested me to design a wedding card for his brother's wedding, so this is what I came up with. You guys must wondering that so glittery and all, but cant help it weddings here are glittery and full of color so had to design something accordingly.

The medallion in the center is hand drawn and then I took a picture, edited it and saved it on my PC so i can offer it to others as well as print it if I need it again. After printing it I used embossing powder and bronze colored glitter on it to make it look like this.

The other designs on the left side and on the bottom of the card are also hand drawn and then embossed. The sentiment is computer printed. I have drawn the designs on the strip and then later on when I was done with the embossing, attached the strips to the card so if I mess anything up it wont spoil my card.

I want to offer the Medallion image as a freebie but I have it saved on Microsoft Word document and I have no idea of how to upload it here, so whoever knows it plz help me with it. And till I have uploaded it here you can mention that you need the file and leave your mail id, so that I can email it out to you.

Teddy Bear Favour

As valentines is approaching Everything is doing red and heart shaped :), love and romance is in the air. So for giving out valentine favors I made this cute lil simple teddy bear favor box. I found the instructions to make this online so the original credit of it goes to a girl who gave out instructions, but as I dont remember her name, so for now I will have to do with nameless credit, though I feel bad doing so.

The box is made up of an A4 size black card stock, the images come from my decorated paper and I have embossed them to add a little dimension. All sides have a different image. I wanted the box too look simple and decent because I have seen guys usually allergic to the bling :), but i couldn't resit my love for it so have added twin glittered hearts on the front side flap.

To close the box I have used ribbon but glued to a card stock strip because the ribbon itself is soft so it wont stay on its place.

If you guys want instructions to it just lemme know, I will try to guide u guys as much as I can in making this favor box, and i would love too see your creations too. I am planning on making some more too with different color combos and all.

And not to forget this box can hold small gifts too :). hope you guys like my post, see you soon.

Straight From The Heart

Wanted to make a card with something in every corner and loads of layering :), so here it is, its also according to a color challenge by Color Create Challenge blog, so I will enter it into the challenge.

Hmmmm...... I am thinking where to start from :). Well ok lets start from the layers, I have used Red, White and Pink. The layer bearing the swirl and flower is covered with a pink glittered net, it was giving it such a rich look that I couldn't resist. the swirl is hand drawn and cut and so are the flowers. And then they are glittered to add a little bling to the otherwise matte card.

For sentiments I have used the ticket sentiments and gave them a colored outline. The image is colored by my normal markers and color pencils.
