Casing A Card for the first time

This time i am back with a cased card for Case Study challenge. I had a hard time putting this together because my hand is not yet completely recovered so cutting and coloring and folding the card stock with it was a very hard job. But i love the results, the color combo came out really good.

The blue flower at the right lower side of the card is fussy cut from a wrapping paper and then raised a little to add dimension to it. Decorated it with diamante. 

The flower at the upper left side seems like a stamp but actually its hand drawn and colored and decorated with colored rhinestones :).

I have layered the card as i love multiple layers :). The card also has multiple folds giving ample space to add pictures and detailed message to a loved one.

The middle flap is decorated with a wrapping sheet and the flower is hand drawn, cut and colored. None of the flowers that u see on this card are stamps, they are all hand drawn and colored.

I have made a pocket on one fold to hold pretty tags with personal messages, and there is space on the back side for pictures, notes or personal messages. The sentiments on the tags are also hand written :).

Mom you are the best

Hi, i am  back after a very long time. a lot has been going on in my life. I have been creating but unable to post here, though have been posting my creations on my facebook page

And now my project for mothers day. i have designed it according to the color challenge at play date cafe. i totally love it, hope that my mom loves it too. It is a hard job to hide it from her :).

The flower, leaves and spirals are totally hand drawn n cut :) and because of it i still have pain in my hand which has not completely healed from the cuts i got after slipping with a glass jug :(.

The flowers and leaves are outlined with a white color pencil and the doily is colored pink. Hope u like this as much as i did.

Balloon Bouquet

The image is by designed to delight :), A cute image indeed. Made a bookmark our of it for a very nice friend who loves to read book.

i have distressed the edges to give it a more finished look but i dont know why the pictures didnt come out good. The images have been raised to add dimension :).

You Are A Hoot :)

This is a little different version of the card i uploaded a few days back. In this i have added a sentiment and decorated the inside of the card and made a matching gift bag. A perfect gift for a best friend.

Image is colored with color pencils, the sentiment is computer generated.

I have added two googly eyes for the two O's of the sentiment and they kind off look cute to me :)

Thinking of you (Catching Flakes)

 

Decorated a notepad for a very nice friend of mine. He has just gone from a very bad phase of chemo sessions for his cancer treatment, But has recovered by the grace of God :). 

This cute Image is from designed 2 Delight by Faith. I am totally in love with this one and goes perfectly   with the winter season :).

Its colored with markers and water color pencils and not to mention that, I had to color this image twice because, I spilled water over it by mistake :(.

Yeah i also added a sentiment and a tag fer it too. Under the pretty patterned paper is the pocket which holds the tag. Also added loads of faux stitching and some glitter. Hope you guys like it.
